Using Sugar

Sugar connects Discord to supported hosting providers so authorised users can manage their game servers. You must meet Discord’s minimum age requirements in your country and have permission to manage the services you connect. Where you cannot enter into a binding agreement yourself, your parent or guardian must authorise your use.

Your hosting provider and payments

Your hosting provider sells and bills the hosting plan and any Sugar addon shown in its checkout. The provider sets the price, billing cycle and applicable taxes, takes payment, and handles billing enquiries, renewals, cancellation and refund requests under its terms and applicable law. Sugar may receive an agreed share of the addon price from the provider. Sugar does not take your hosting payment through Discord.

Review your provider’s checkout before paying. A Discord selection is not confirmation of payment or server availability. Cancelling access to Sugar or removing the bot does not cancel a subscription with your host. Cancel billing through your provider.

Access and server actions

Keep claim codes and account credentials private. Check which server and action you select, and keep appropriate backups with your provider. Sugar access depends on a valid addon or other licence grant and can stop when the provider reports suspension, cancellation or expiry. Your hosting account remains with your provider.

Acceptable use

Do not use Sugar to access someone else’s server without permission, bypass access restrictions, steal credentials, disrupt services, or carry out unlawful activity. Follow Discord’s terms and your provider’s acceptable use rules. Report suspected unauthorised access promptly.

Availability and changes

Sugar depends on Discord, hosting panels and provider billing systems. Maintenance, outages and integration changes may interrupt commands or delay updates. No particular uptime or response time is promised unless agreed separately. Material changes to these terms will be identified by a new version and notified through the website or an appropriate service channel before taking effect where practicable.

Suspension, ending access and complaints

The operator may restrict access to address abuse, security risks, unpaid addon access or legal requirements, with an explanation where practicable and lawful. Contact the operator to challenge an error or raise a Sugar complaint. Contact your host about hosting, payment or refunds. If Sugar is discontinued, affected providers will be informed where practicable so customers can be told how billing and access are affected.

Your rights

Nothing in these terms removes consumer rights, data protection rights, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence. The operator remains responsible to the extent required by applicable law. These terms do not prevent you from using the courts or statutory remedies available where you live.
